Peter has been involved in the digital revolution across the UK public sector since joining the Inland Revenue in 2000 to work on the first e-Services projects, such as Self Assessment online. Having worked on many prominent “e-Government” projects within the Cabinet Office, such as the Government Gateway and Directgov.uk, he was one of the team who introduced G-Cloud in 2012, helping to establish this as a game-changer in public sector procurement. He’s been a regular public speaker at industry and stakeholder events, evangelising about the use of Cloud and the need to think differently about ICT. Peter has since worked at the Home Office on a transformation programme, identifying opportunities for how digital technologies and services can deliver business improvement and transformational change, in addition to strategic advisory services.
