IDC report: Remote Working Strategies and Implications for Partners
IDC's European Partnering Ecosystems (EPE) team organizes regular meetings for its Partner Advisory Board (PAB), which comprises a select group of senior executives from a diverse range of partners. IDC partnering analysts Stuart Wilson, Andreas Storz, and Naima Camara participated in a follow-up discussion with a subset of U.K. based PAB members during the fourth quarter of 2020 to co-create a document outlining perspectives on remote working strategies and the implications for partners.
While COVID-19 necessitated an immediate move to remote working for many partners in 2020, this document looks beyond "what happened" to formulate and articulate viewpoints on the medium- to long-term implications for partners in terms of their business models and organizational structure.
The PAB members participating in this co-creation process included Kelvin Kirby, Tech Associates; Chris Dunning, TechQuarters; David McLeman, Ancoris; Sean Roberts, Ensono; Alastair Wynn, Softcat; Roger Harry, CircleIT; Andy Philpott, Computacenter; and Justin Harling, CAE.
