Cranford Group becomes latest member to join Cloud Industry Forum

The Cloud Industry Forum (CIF) has today announced that Cranford Group, a specialist Cloud and Dev Ops Assured Resource provider working across both public and private sectors, has become the latest member to join the industry body’s growing membership roster.

CIF is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to improve standards and education in the Cloud industry. It provides transparency through certification to a Code of Practice to endorse credible providers of cloud services and, through its Professional CIF Membership scheme, assists end users in determining the core information necessary to enable them to adopt such services with confidence.

Commenting on their move, David Bentley  at Cranford Group  “Technology is changing our world fast and the ability to embrace these changes can be constrained by having access to the right people with skills & experience. We recognise as an industry we need to work collaboratively to safeguard future innovation. At Cranford group we look forward to working with the Forum and its members on initiatives such as its Digital Skills Special Interest Group to support the development of key skills for a changing workplace”

Cranford Group are collaborating with the Forum and its members on the development of their Cloud Leadership White paper, which takes a look at the how, what and why behind organisations move to the cloud through the eyes of industry experts, public sector thought leaders, cloud consulting companies, technology leaders and frontline employees.

Alex Hilton CEO of CIF added, “As our own research indicates, UK businesses’ increasing use of cloud, and the growing imperatives of digital transformation, are changing the face of the IT department, and how it interacts with the wider business. We look forward to working with our members to show how organisations need to respond and highlight successes and lessons learnt.”
